Brett Bartman was one of three Chiefs (Dustin Donaghy and Steve Kuhn) and the only defenseman to appear in all 72 games in 2008-09.  In his second season as a Chief, Bartman scored two goals, 15 points and finished the season as a +30.  The Medicine Hat, Alberta  also had 61 penalty minutes.  As a rookie in 2007-08, Bartman appeared in 48 games with six assists and a +16.  His first career point came on November 9^th, 2007 versus Kamloops and first career two point game was on February 2^nd, 2008 against the Kootenay Ice.  Played 14 games and registered three assists with the Medicine Hat Tigers of the Alberta AAA Midget Hockey League in 2006-07.
