The Spokane Chiefs play in the premier facility in the Western Hockey League, the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena, a 10,366 state of the art facility. Opening in 1995, the Chiefs and the Arena have hosted the most prestigious of events, including Junior Hockey’s Final Four, the 1998 Memorial Cup. The Spokane community helped the Chiefs set a then tournament record with over 73,013 fans attending the eight-day event. One-year prior, more than 10,000 fans watched the WHL All-Star game, setting another attendance record. The Spokane Arena also features a $1.2 Million Video Wall, a state-of-the-art LED message board that surrounds the entire facade of the Arena and all the first class amenities that accompany a premiere building.
